Max Anton explores the space between art and science in search of adventure.
I work as an exhibit developer for the Houston Museum of Natural Science, using creative media to promote scientific interest and education and encourage responsible environmental stewardship. It's my privilege to help inspire new generations of explorers and citizen scientists.
Exploration and investigation influence much of my life. My travels in countries like Haiti, Brazil, and beyond inform my creative process, as well as my worldview. I like to tell stories with art, and those stories tend to reflect themes of adventure, discovery, and the ancient battle between good and evil.
I am also involved in film production, dinosaur excavation, and Christian apologetics. I enjoy climbing trees, tending gardens, getting lost around Texas, and searching for unusual animals. Lately I've been trying my hand at writing fiction based on my museum experience.
